From time to time, a Minvalonnie puppy or dog may be returned to us due to a change in circumstances. When this happens, our priority is to ensure they receive the care, stability and support they need while we work to find them an appropriate new home.
All returned dogs are cared for within our home. During this period, we take the time to:
• Assess their temperament and behaviour
• Understand their individual needs
• Identify any training or confidence‑building they may require
• Ensure they are healthy, settled and ready before rehoming is considered
We are committed to placing every returned dog into a carefully selected, suitable home. This process is never rushed. Our focus is always on ensuring the right match for both the dog and the new family.
Where possible, we provide honest and transparent information about the dog’s:
• Background
• Personality
• Behaviour
• Training level
• Health status
• Any specific needs or considerations
This helps ensure a successful and stable placement.
Priority may be given to previous applicants or families already known to us, but all potential homes are assessed based on suitability, experience and the dog’s individual requirements.
Once a dog is rehomed, our responsibility does not end. We remain available for ongoing support and guidance, ensuring that every Minvalonnie dog continues to receive the care and attention they deserve throughout their life.
