A calm, thoughtful and transparent process from the very beginning.
Bringing a Cavalier into your life is a meaningful decision.
Our waiting list exists to ensure that every puppy is placed with the right family — and that families have time to prepare, learn and feel confident before their puppy comes home.
This page explains how our waiting list works, what to expect, and how we support you throughout the journey.
We breed slowly and intentionally. This means:
We only plan a litter when the pairing is right
Health, temperament and timing are always prioritised
We never breed to meet demand
We want to know our families before puppies arrive
A waiting list allows us to match puppies thoughtfully and ensures that every family joining us is prepared, suitable and aligned with our ethos.
Being on the list does not guarantee a puppy, but it ensures you are considered for upcoming litters and kept informed as plans develop.
You’ll be asked to complete a short form that helps us understand:
Your lifestyle
Your experience with dogs
Your household dynamics
What you’re hoping for in a puppy
Any preferences or considerations
Whether you would like to opt in to occasional updates
There are no “right” answers — just honest ones.
We carefully review every application to ensure that:
A Cavalier is the right fit for your home
You understand the breed’s needs
Your expectations align with our ethos
We feel confident we can support you
If suitable, you will receive an email confirming that you have been added to our waiting list.
If we feel we are not the right breeder for you, we will let you know kindly and honestly.
There is no fee to join the waiting list.
On the application form, you can choose whether you would like to receive occasional updates.
If you opt in, you will only be contacted when there is meaningful information to share, such as:
A planned mating
A confirmed pregnancy
Available puppies
A returned or older puppy needing a home
These updates are not newsletters — they are simple notifications sent only when relevant.
If you prefer not to receive updates, you can still check the website at any time for the latest information.
While you wait, you can explore the information on our website designed to help you prepare for life with a Cavalier.
Our Ownership & Guidance pages include:
Cavalier breed information
Nutrition & holistic care
Insurance & unexpected costs
New owner checklists
Contract previews
These resources are available at any time.
We encourage families to spend time reading through them so they feel informed, confident and prepared long before their puppy comes home.
We strongly recommend that families read our contract previews while they wait.
This ensures that:
You understand our expectations
You are familiar with our welfare commitments
There are no surprises later in the process
You feel confident moving forward when a puppy becomes available
If you have questions about any part of the contract, we are always happy to discuss them.
If plans change — and sometimes they do — we will always update the website promptly and honestly.
We never overbook, oversell or rush decisions.
These updates are not optional — they are essential for all families on the waiting list.
You will receive:
Updates on mum’s health
Vet visits
Scan results
Litter progress
And once puppies arrive:
Photos and videos
Development updates
Notes on emerging personalities
These updates ensure you remain fully informed throughout the pregnancy and early weeks.
If at any time you wish to be removed from the waiting list — and therefore stop receiving ALL updates — you can email:

We do not allocate puppies at birth.
Deposits are taken at 4 weeks
Matching and viewings begin at 6 weeks, once we understand each puppy’s:
Confidence
Sensitivity
Sociability
Energy level
Adaptability
Preferred type of human interaction
Your preferences matter — but temperament always comes first.
When puppies reach 6 weeks old, you’ll be invited to meet them in person (or via video if distance requires).
This is a relaxed, joyful visit where you can see how they interact with you and your family.
To protect the health and safety of our puppies:
You must not have visited other litters on the same day
Shoes must be removed before entering
Hands must be washed or sanitised before handling puppies
These measures help reduce risk and keep our puppies safe.
Every Minvalonnie puppy goes home with a comprehensive pack including:
Health records
Contract
Microchip details
Access to our Owners Portal (nutrition, feeding logs, socialisation guidance and more)
Familiar blanket
Comfort items
Personal touches
Once you take home a Minvalonnie puppy, you become part of our extended family.
We’re here for:
