Below are answers to the most common questions about our puppies, our process, and what to expect when welcoming a Minvalonnie puppy into your home.
Do you have puppies available?
Availability varies, as we do not breed frequently or to meet demand. Details of current and planned litters can be found in the Puppies section.
How do I join the waitlist?
All interested homes must complete our application form. This helps us get to know you and assess suitability. The form is available in the Puppies section.
Does joining the waitlist guarantee a puppy?
No. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a puppy. Matching is based on temperament and suitability.
How much are your puppies?
£3500
This reflects full health testing, ethical low‑volume breeding, structured development, evidence‑informed rearing, lifetime support, and access to our Owner Portal.
Do your prices ever increase?
Prices may be reviewed periodically to reflect rising veterinary, testing or care costs. Any changes will always be transparent and clearly stated.
Where are you based?
Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Our full address is shared only with confirmed families for safety and privacy.
How do you communicate?
All communication is handled via email. Once you are an approved family, we are happy to arrange a phone or video call if needed.
How do I remove myself from the waitlist?
You can request removal at any time using the Waitlist Removal Form on our Contact page.
Do you send updates?
You may opt in to occasional updates via the waitlist (planned matings, pregnancies, available puppies).
Pregnancy and litter updates are sent to ALL families on the waitlist unless they request removal.
Can I choose my puppy?
Preferences are of course considered, but final decisions are based on temperament and suitability.
Can I choose sex or colour?
You may express a preference, but preferences are not guaranteed. Puppies are allocated to the most suitable homes.
What if there isn’t a suitable puppy for me?
You may remain on the waitlist for a future litter or be considered for other available puppies.
When can I visit the puppies?
First viewing: 6 weeks
Additional visits: 8 and 10 weeks (if appropriate)
Can I visit before paying a deposit?
No. This protects the puppies’ health and ensures only committed homes visit.
Why can’t I visit earlier?
Young puppies are vulnerable. Limiting early access prevents illness and maintains a calm environment.
Can I meet the mother?
Yes — during scheduled viewings once puppies are old enough.
Can I meet the sire?
Often sires do not live with us. We provide full health testing, photos, temperament information and pedigree details.
When can puppies go home?
At 12 weeks of age.
This supports emotional development, confidence, socialisation and a smoother transition.
Why do your puppies stay longer?
Older puppies cope better with change, settle faster, and show stronger resilience.
What do I receive with my puppy?
A comprehensive puppy pack, familiar blanket, food, digital access to the Owner Portal, and lifetime support.
What are the puppies fed?
A balanced raw diet.
Do I have to continue feeding raw?
No, but we recommend keeping the same diet initially. Any changes should be gradual.
Are your dogs health tested?
Yes. All breeding dogs undergo full health testing including MRI, heart, eyes and DNA amongst more.
Are puppies vaccinated?
Yes. Puppies receive their initial vaccinations.
Are puppies microchipped?
Yes. Microchips are registered to Minvalonnie, with your details added as keeper upon collection and full payment.
Are puppies toilet trained?
They are introduced to outdoor toileting and routine‑based training.
Do you crate train?
We focus on routine, confidence and independence. Owners may introduce crate training if desired.
Do you temperament test your puppies?
Yes — puppies are assessed throughout development to support matching.
Can I breed from my puppy?
No. All puppies are sold with breeding restrictions and KC endorsements.
Can this ever be changed?
Only if the dog is over 2.5 years old, fully health tested, and approved in writing.
Do you offer support after purchase?
Yes — lifetime support is provided for all Minvalonnie owners.
What if I can’t keep my dog?
You must contact us. We take lifelong responsibility for every dog we breed and will always assist with rehoming. Relevant forms can be found in the Return & Rehome section.
Do you sell puppies on finance or payment plans?
No. Full payment is required before the puppy leaves.
Do you allow third‑party collection?
No. Puppies must be collected by the owner unless agreed in writing.
Do you offer shipping or courier services?
No. We do not ship puppies. Any transport arrangements must be discussed and approved.
Do you sell to breeders?
Puppies are fully endorsed upon collection, this means they cannot be bred from. Breeders wishing to purchase a Minvalonnie puppy need to be aware of our strict breeding guidelines and appreciate that their puppy (when age appropriate) may not meet our thresholds for lifting the endorsements. Therefore, we advise all puppies go to homes with a focus on welcoming a pet/companion.
Do you sell puppies overseas?
In general, No. This may only be considered in exceptional circumstances and with strict welfare requirements.
