Callie is Stormie’s biological sister, and her arrival was wonderfully unexpected.
Just one week after bringing Stormie home, the breeder contacted us to say she had seen how much we already adored Stormie and asked if we might consider taking Callie too. Despite Callie already being reserved, she chose to let us have her — and after a very short “deliberation,” we were on our way to collect our fourth Cavalier.
Callie is the opposite of Stormie in many ways.
Where Stormie charges into life head‑first, Callie is thoughtful and observant. She takes a moment to assess a situation before joining in, and once she feels safe, she plays with confidence and enthusiasm.
She loves people and has a natural softness that draws everyone to her. Her signature move is to drop and roll instantly for belly rubs. She enjoys running, playing and being part of the group, but she does so with a measured, sensible approach that balances Stormie’s chaos perfectly.
Callie brings a peaceful, loving energy to our home.
She is thoughtful, sweet‑natured and endlessly endearing — the perfect complement to her bold little sister.
Callie is currently too young to undergo the full range of health testing required for breeding.
At Minvalonnie, we only breed from dogs who have passed every stage of our extensive health screening, which includes:
MRI (CM/SM)
Cardiologist heart testing
Ophthalmology (ECVO)
DNA testing
Patella assessment
Hip and elbow scoring
Full pre‑breeding blood work
Once she reaches the appropriate age, Callie will complete all of these tests.
Only if she passes every requirement will she join our breeding programme.
If she does not meet our strict health criteria, she will simply continue her life as a cherished family companion.
Our priority is always the long‑term health and future of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
